Right now, I have no internet connection, so I can't look things up. I will try to make a vertical navbar just by trial and error. I... I think <div> is enough for this. I'm not sure. Let's see. Here is the navbar I have been using so far:
float: left...
Hmm... It does make sense. Let's change the text-align to left. Decrease padding to 5px. Move the logo to left as well.
Okay... let's put this thing in a <div> and set the width to 25%.
Lorem ipsum, dolor sit amet consectetur adipisicing elit. Esse quae totam quo amet optio. Ab, eaque cumque? Suscipit, rem quo? Asperiores, aliquam tempore. Ipsam repellat aliquam atque officiis maiores unde! Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipisicing elit. Molestias earum et laudantium, eligendi nesciunt, quis aperiam quas nemo repellendus beatae magnam tenetur unde. Inventore fuga cupiditate nesciunt veritatis nostrum distinctio? Lorem ipsum dolor, sit amet consectetur adipisicing elit. Quas quis nostrum delectus molestiae a eaque quam, deserunt reiciendis eveniet officia temporibus ea, laborum placeat culpa veniam et fugit doloribus. Distinctio!
This was kinda tough to figure out. I put 2 divs within a div and set all of them to flex, the (now) vertical navbar has a width of 25%, and the text's width is set to max-content.
Huh... Weird. When I maximize the window, the text takes more space but the navbar stays the same. Does max-content override navbar's 25%?
Also, the navbar expands to match the text's height. Makes sense... but how do I prevent that?
I don't think I will use a navbar like this, but still, it's kinda fun to mess around and see what I can do.
